How we keep Kaziiko safe
for everyone on the platform
Kaziiko only works when every transaction goes through the platform. This policy explains exactly what is prohibited, why these rules exist, and what happens when they are broken.

Why these rules protect you
When you pay through Kaziiko, your funds are held safely in escrow until you confirm the work meets your expectations. An off-platform deal has no such protection — if the expert disappears or delivers nothing, your money is gone.
Kaziiko can only mediate disputes on work that went through the platform. If you transacted off-platform, we have no power to help you recover funds or enforce delivery.
Our review system only accepts ratings on completed platform orders, so you can trust that a 4.9-star expert has actually delivered that standard of work — not just self-reported it.
Every expert on Kaziiko has been ID-verified. Going off-platform means you lose the accountability that verification provides.
What is strictly prohibited
The following actions are violations of Kaziiko's Platform Integrity Policy and are enforceable under our Terms of Service. Violations are detected automatically and through user reports.
Do not share personal or business phone numbers in chat, your profile bio, portfolio descriptions, or anywhere else on the platform. This includes WhatsApp numbers.
Personal or business email addresses may not be shared in any chat message or public-facing profile field.
Do not share Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, TikTok, LinkedIn, Telegram, or Snapchat usernames or profile links in any communication on the platform.
Requesting or accepting payment by any means other than Kaziiko's M-Pesa escrow — including direct M-Pesa transfers, bank transfers, PayPal, or cash — is strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate permanent suspension.
Experts may not ask clients to hire them directly (now or in future) without going through Kaziiko. Clients may not ask experts to work for them directly while bypassing the platform.
Referring a client or expert to a third-party channel specifically to complete work that should be done on Kaziiko is considered platform circumvention, even if no payment changes hands immediately.
All messages on Kaziiko are scanned in real time for personal contact details — phone numbers, email addresses, social media handles, and WhatsApp or Telegram links. Messages containing these will be blocked automatically before they are delivered. This is not optional and cannot be bypassed. The platform does this to protect both parties: clients keep their escrow protection, experts keep their account standing.
Consequences of violations
Kaziiko reserves the right to escalate any consequence based on severity. In cases of confirmed fraud, we will cooperate fully with Kenyan law enforcement including the DCI and Communications Authority of Kenya.
- Discussing the scope, requirements, or timeline of the work
- Sharing files, documents, or links directly relevant to the order
- Asking clarifying questions about the service
- Reporting an issue with a delivery and requesting revisions
- Providing feedback on completed work
How to report a violation
If another user asks you to communicate or pay outside the platform, do not agree — and report it immediately. Reporting protects you and helps keep Kaziiko trustworthy for everyone.
