We started Kaziiko because we were tired of watching people lose entire working days to government queues, or get scammed by unverified agents on social media. There had to be a better way.
The problem we're solving
Getting anything done through Kenya's government systems takes time — time most people don't have. KRA PIN recovery, eCitizen updates, driving licence renewals, NSSF statements: each one means queues, confusing portals, and often a week or more of back-and-forth.
The informal workaround already existed: small "cyber" businesses in Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, and across Kenya that help people navigate these systems for a fee. Millions of Kenyans use them every year. But finding a trustworthy one — especially from abroad — was hit-or-miss. You'd pay, share your ID, and just hope the person on the other end was honest.
Kaziiko formalises and protects this ecosystem. We verify the experts, hold the payments in escrow, and create a trail of accountability. Clients get peace of mind. Experts get a platform that brings them legitimate work and pays them fairly.
