Statutory deductions (PAYE, NSSF, SHA/SHIF) shall be made as required by law. The employer shall remit these to the relevant authorities on behalf of the employee.

5. Working Hours

Overtime, if required, shall be compensated at the rate prescribed by the Employment Act 2007.

6. Leave Entitlements
  1. Annual Leave: 21 working days per calendar year, after completion of 12 months' continuous service.
  2. Sick Leave: Up to 7 days on full pay and 7 days on half pay in any leave year, subject to production of a medical certificate.
  3. Maternity Leave: 3 months on full pay as provided under Section 29 of the Employment Act 2007.
  4. Paternity Leave: 2 weeks on full pay as provided under Section 29A of the Employment Act 2007.
  5. Public Holidays: The employee is entitled to all gazetted public holidays in Kenya.
7. Confidentiality

The employee shall not, during or after employment, disclose any trade secrets, client lists, pricing, business strategies or other confidential information of the employer to any third party without written consent.

8. Code of Conduct & Disciplinary

The employee shall comply with the employer's policies and code of conduct. Disciplinary proceedings shall follow the process set out in Part VI of the Employment Act 2007 and the employer's internal policies.

9. Termination
  1. Notice Period (after probation): Either party may terminate by giving 1 month written notice, or pay in lieu of notice.
  2. Summary Dismissal: The employer may summarily dismiss the employee for gross misconduct as defined under Section 44 of the Employment Act 2007.
  3. Redundancy: Where termination is due to redundancy, the employer shall follow Section 40 of the Employment Act 2007, including payment of severance pay of not less than 15 days' pay per year of service.
10. Governing Law

This contract is governed by the Laws of Kenya. Any dispute shall first be resolved through negotiation; failing which either party may refer the matter to the Employment and Labour Relations Court.
